Its probaly because some people are still trying to get the Wii they act like it sill just came out.

Well the Wii is a new and very popular type of game. So technically it is the next generation of gaming. I don't care for it though. People just want it because it is different, but it is not as great as it seems.

lol I even doubt that the statement that the Wii would be next gen, because all it seems to do is replace joy stick waggling with random stick waggling. Only games for sword fighting such as 'No more Heroes' seem to really better suited for the Wii than for a regular brick with button pads idea

actually, only the PS3 and 360 are current gen, Wii is stuck between generations since they haven't expanded anything from the gamecube minus a gimmicky waggle.

I prefer tilting the wiimote on the side like a wheel in racing games. It actually works very well. Also I hate duel analog FPSs with a passion. When done right the pointer on the wiimote does make it much easier to aim and it feels better. Of course some early wii games got the FPS aiming wrong but that seemed to be fixed after Metroid Prime 3 came out. The problem is since the Wii isn't as powerful as the other two systems (still more powerful than the original xbox) it makes it very hard to want to play a game on it if the controls are standard. What's the point. Thank god they didn't put waggle in Super Smash Bros. Brawl though. >.> Also I am not a fanboy since I own a 360 and intend to get a PS3 some day. I'm just saying the Wii has done some things right. Though Wii Music is horrible o.O in everyway.

future gen..current gen...I'm still trying to get out of past gen. Long live the sega genisis Bwa ha ha ha. but seriously the new consoles have been out for a few years now right?
