It's been about 3 years since I started working at the Burger King and it's now under new ownership. The old managers were okay, but these new managers are a pain in the ass. I've actually been trying to get into a different job for a while now, but nothing really worked out. After a really stressful day I came home and started googling my job options. That's when I discovered a bunch of really amazing freelance sites. I made my mind up almost immediately to become a full time freelancer. On July 15th I will be leaving Burger King. T.T You have no idea how long I've wanted to say that. I'll be using all the skills I gained in college and over the years to make a living. This is what I've always wanted. I'll still be taking commissions of course and continuing my Patreon, but now it will be a big part of my livlihood.
I want to thank everyone who has supported me over the years with commissions or as a patron. You're the reason I can take this big step! I will be adding a few new options for you guys such as.
The first sketch, colored pic, or coloring commission I receive each weekday will be done within 24 hours. Must be a single character commission.
I actually had this idea a while ago.
All Patreon packs will become purchasable for a certain price for those who aren't on Patreon. It will still be cheaper to become a Patron though.
All commissions should be done much faster now.
New Shading option possibly. With me going all in on this new job I plan to experiment with more realistic shading. If I like the result you can pay more to get this shading for your picture.
Let me know if you guys have any ideas.
I know this is a big risk, if I don't pull in enough freelance work my bank account is going to be hurting. However, I am going to be giving my all for this job because I honestly love making art for you guys and I really hate working in a hot kitchen during summer. Seriously I feel like I am dying in there! Worse comes to worse I'll have get another regular job, but I really hope I won't have too. If you read all of this then thank you so much! I know it was longer than my other journals.
